BodyMedia Solution

I spent 5 years with BodyMedia designing and implementing software solutions for the web based Activity Manager and the iOS mobile application with wireless band capabilities.

Mobile Workouts

Wireless real-time workout solution on iOS devices that used the Classic Bluetooth protocol. Integrated with local music on the iOS device.

Activity Manager Dashboard

The dashboard is where the user would track of their health metrics. Users could track daily, weekly, or monthly trends.

Mobile Food Diary

On-the-go food logging solution that would allow users to log their foods from their mobile device. They would also see these on the web based Activity Manager.

Food Journal & Goal Setting

The food journal was the place where users could log all of their meals.

Sprint ID Widget

Our team created fun ways to visualize your health metrics with Android widgets. Sheep to represent quality of sleep, Animals to represnt daily activity, An eaten apple to represent how much food remaining to eat.

Panasonic Viera TV App

Worked with Panasonic to design a viera tv app that talked wirelessly via Bluetooth to BodyMedia’s body monitoring Armband. This allowed users to see things like calories burned, activity levels, and steps taken as they are working out to their favorite workout video.
